Juliana Sloper brings almost two decades of event production and strategic fundraising experience to Plum Strategy. As a creative, detail-oriented, and goal-driven strategist, Juliana partners with clients to foster an event vision from its infant stages and turn it into reality. Over the last 15+ years, Juliana has partnered with clients nationwide on a broad range of projects, resulting in millions of dollars raised for various causes, and tens of thousands of guests wowed by their event experiences.
Prior to starting Plum Strategy, Juliana worked with Orr Associates, Inc. (OAI), a non-profit consulting firm based in New York City and Washington, D.C., to produce and manage multiple, high-profile fundraising events each year. Over the last 8 years, Juliana has created unique event fundraising strategies, analyzed donor networks, determined cultivation tools for old and new donors-- all while planning and producing every logistic of a client's event experience.
Before joining OAI, Juliana was the Manager of Board Relations and Special Events at the National Park Foundation-- the national charitable partner of America’s National Parks. In this role, she managed logistics for the White House-appointed Board of Directors, in addition to planning and producing several prestigious events in unique venues throughout the country.
In her spare time, Juliana enjoys traveling, cooking, yoga, hiking, good wine, and sitting at the table for hours after a meal is over-- engaging in conversation and laughs with the ones she loves.
